J & S Mini Aussies And Toy Aussies
Located in Eastern Oregon - a short drive from the Boise, Idaho area, Northern Idaho, and Eastern Washington. Here at J&S our main goals are to breed confirmationally and mentally correct mini Aussies that you can take into the show ring, your breeding program and can bring into your family and home. Mini Aussies are great dogs that have personality plus and are as loyal as they come. Our boys and girls are socialized well with children, adults, other dogs and numerous other animals that live on our ranch. Welcome to J&S Mini and toy Aussies! We started breeding Miniature Australian Shepherds full time in 2002. First and foremost, we strive to breed for confirmation and temperament that is true to the Australian Shepherd as a breed. Our dogs and puppies are all handled and raised with our 4 children. We own a small ranch just outside Baker City, OR and the dogs have free roam of the place most of the time.
All of our dogs are registered with American Stock Dog registry (ASDR). Some are crossed registered with National Stock Dog and can be double registered. We have not switched over to AKC just yet but plan on adding this registry in the future.
The puppies that we raise are all with their mommas until they are 6 weeks old. They are started on a vaccine program at 4 weeks old with a vaccine called NeoPar (depending on the time of year they may get another shot of this at 5 weeks as well). Followed by the regular combination puppy shot at 6 weeks old. Puppies are wormed at 2, 4, and 6 weeks old as well.
